In fact, Neutrogena is known as the number-one dermatologist-recommended sun-care brand. Neutrogena as a brand is very well-established. Neutrogena’s Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen is a big name when it comes to sun protection. Wait for your shirt and let’s take a photograph.Let’s dig in to this summer sunscreen favorite that promises quality coverage and grease-free application.Choose your style: men, women, toddlers, ….Below, more examples of how to take laissez-faire lengths to the next level this summer-the Stevie Nicks way. With temperatures starting to soar, it’s worth recognizing that Nicks’s perpetually tousled tresses not only make the case for a directional, wash-and-go shag cut, but also for embracing frizz with help from a fine-toothed comb, well-placed chapeau, or the take-no-prisoners humidity. The queen of bohemia, her fanned-out, eyelash-grazing fringe and lived-in waves-worn up or down, alone, or accessorized with a top hat or crocheted headpiece-were as effortless and insouciantly sexy as her billowy capes and low-slung peasant skirts. For Fleetwood Mac’s frontwoman, there was no such thing as a bad hair day.Īs evidenced in a famed 1977 clip of Nicks getting ready with best friend and confidant Robin Snyder, she always took her cascade of dirty blonde waves into her own hands backstage, brushing and teasing them to the heavens, sometimes blithely twisting them, whichever way the proverbial wind blew, into a loose-at-the-nape knot. And at the forefront of this devil-may-care hair attitude was none other than witchy goddess Stevie Nicks, who turns 74 today. The decade’s rock ’n’ roll musicians and showgoers alike were letting their manes run wild and free. In the ’70s, long before neon-splashed plaits and glitter-dusted roots were crafted for the theater of Instagram, summer hair was something entirely different. A few drops of this green goodness will make your face look even and glowy, without being heavy or tinted-it’s my go-to for all occasions before the sun goes down and after the sun sets, I like to wear it in lieu of foundation out at night too! For my body, I like to go with a high SPF and always try to apply before I leave my house in the summer (spraying on the beach or by the pool is not fun!)-just be sure to rub it in so you’re fully covered. It smells like refreshing coconut while leaving my skin feeling well moisturized and soothed while still providing all the sun protection needed during the dog days of summer.įor days I want to look like I have makeup on and still be protected from the sun, Dr.Jart’s Cicapair products with SPF are the ideal option. It’s hard to believe it actually protects my skin, but it does! For long days at the beach, I love using Sun Bum’s creamy sunscreen. It feels refreshing on, with hints of rose geranium, lavender, and rosemary. I love to keep it in my bag for a quick spritz on my face in the morning before I go outside. I’m a big fan of Habit’s previously sold-out spray sunscreen. ![]() ![]() It goes on clear and doesn’t leave a white cast. Finally for reapplication, the Shiseido stick is the best sunscreen to keep in your bag when you’re on the go. ![]() I have extremely dry skin and this product goes on like a lightweight lotion that leaves your face hydrated. Next, the Innisfree sunscreen is my holy grail. Supergoop! Unseen is the perfect daily SPF that doubles as a primer. I’m always on the hunt for a lightweight sunscreen that won’t leave my face dry and goes on without leaving a white cast. (I was initially late to this practice, but I now swear by it.) This formula is coconut-oil-based, actually makes my lips feel moisturized throughout the day, and protects my lips from the sun. Not only is it high in SPF, but the ultra-lightweight and sheer consistency leaves me with a soft, glowing complexion, with or without makeup. For my extremely sensitive skin, it has been one of the few brands that have never let me down! I swear by this moisturizer every morning. I’ve been devoted to Neutrogena since day one.
